Maid Introduction

Growing up in a close-knit and hardworking family, Mirriam learned the value of discipline, responsibility, and dedication at an early age.

She completed her secondary education at Bagong Silang 1 High School in 2010, after which she sought employment to support her family. Mirriam has always been a responsible individual, eager to improve her skills and explore opportunities beyond her hometown.

Her domestic work began in :

Dubai, United Arab Emirates (October 2013 to November 2015), she worked for an Arab family in a 3-room bungalow. The household consisted of a couple and their three children, ages 9, 7, and 5. Mirriam worked alongside another Ethiopian maid, and her duties included general household tasks such as cleaning, doing the laundry, ironing, and marketing with the madam. She also assisted with cooking and was responsible for car washing. This experience allowed her to gain firsth and knowledge of a foreign culture and lifestyle while developing her skills in childcare and domestic management.

Dubai,United Arab Emirates ( June 2016 – Aug 2017), Mirriam returned to Dubai to work for another Arab family, this time in a 3-room condominium. She was tasked with looking after the needs of two children, ages 8 and 6. Along with caring for the children, she also performed various household duties, including cleaning, laundry, marketing, and cooking. This experience broadened her understanding of childcare, especially with younger children, and helped her grow into a confident and capable domestic worker.

Singapore ( May 2019 – June 2019 ), she began working for a Chinese family in a 2-bedroom HDB flat. The family included a couple and an elderly couple (both mobile), ages 70 and 65. Mirriam took charge of the daily household chores such as cleaning, doing laundry, ironing, and marketing with the employer. She also helped with meal preparation and cooking, which gave her an opportunity to refine her skills in Chinese cuisine while looking after the elderly couple’s needs.

Singapore (June 2019- Oct 2021) Later that year, Mirriam moved to work for another Chinese-Singaporean family. She looked after the three children and her responsibilities included maintaining the house, cooking meals, doing laundry, ironing, washing the car, and even caring for the family’s rabbit. She was entrusted with the care of the children, ensuring their well-being and education, preparing their school things, feeding them, and playing with them.

Through these experiences, Mirriam gained valuable insights into managing a variety of households and became highly skilled in handling children of all ages. She is particularly experienced in providing care and companionship for elders who are mobile.

Her ability to balance childcare, eldercare, and household duties has made her a reliable and trustworthy domestic worker. Mirriam is highly adaptable and can quickly adjust to new family dynamics, household routines, and cultural differences.

Mirriam Boras Arillano’s extensive international experience, combined with her dedication to her work, makes her an excellent candidate for families seeking a well-rounded domestic worker. With her practical skills, warm nature, and adaptability, she can be a reliable asset to any household.
