Clair is a Filipino domestic helper with experience working in Singapore for Chinese and American-Chinese families. She has worked in both landed properties and HDB flats. Her experience includes providing childcare well as assisting with elderly care along with household management. She is capable of cooking Chinese food, Western food, and various baked goods.

Jul 2020 to May 2021. Her primary responsibilities included housekeeping, cooking, elderly care, marketing, grocery shopping, laundry, and ironing. As part of her elderly caregiving duties, she assisted in preparing bath essentials, administering prescribed medications, accompanying and assisting the elderly couple during online medical check-ups, and providing light massage for their comfort and relaxation. She prepared a variety of Chinese dishes such as steamed vegetables, braised pork, vermicelli noodle soup, congee, tofu dishes, wonton noodle soup, fried rice, chicken rice, and fried chicken. She left the position due to a personal family emergency.

Mar 2020 - July 2020. Her main duties included general housekeeping duties such as cleaning, vacuuming, laundry, and ironing. While the other helper was responsible for cooking and childcare. Clair assisted with food preparation and baking. She was able to prepare baked goods such as pizza, cinnamon bread, banana bread, and cookies by following recipes. She left the employment as she found it challenging to adapt to the family’s household dynamics.
