Experiences

2 years 2 months (Sep 2023 – Nov 2025) as a stay-out caregiver in the Philippines

Riz-Anne worked in a bungalow with 3-bedrooms, 2-toilets, a living room and 2-kitchen for a family of 4 with an 87-year-old bedridden male with Alzheimer’s disease with hypertension, and she looked after his welfare. Daily, she cleans and tidy the house, marketing, prepare and cook for the family, laundry, ironing and folding.  

(Nov 2025 – Jan 2026)

(Jan 2026 – present) as on-call reliever caregiver in the Philippines

Riz-Anne looks after the welfare of a 90-year-old female with dementia. In all these, she managed the work well. For her future employment, she hopes to widen her experience to be a better caregiver.   

Cooking       

She cooks Filipino dishes, keen to learn to cook Chinese and various other dishes.  

Childcare

She is keen to look after children/ infants.

Elderly Care

She is keen to look after the elderly. In her caregiving experience, she prepared their meals and fed them, bathed and changed their soiled clothes and diapers, checked vital signs, administered their vitamins and medication, changed bed position, accompanied them outdoor for sunshine and relaxation, attended to and assisted in their needs.

Hand phone

She will follow the employer’s instruction regarding hand phone usage. However, she will contact her family using her own hand phone after work hour.

2 years contract

She is aware of the 2-year contract.

Recommendation

As a caregiver, her main duty is towards patient’s welfare and wellness, hygiene and cleanliness of patient’s room area. Riz-Anne is mature and ready to take on new challenge.
