She left the position due to domestic issues of her employer.

Apr 2019 to Jul 2020. Dubai. The family consisted of a couple and their 2-year-old child. She worked together with an Ethiopian helper and performed all-around household duties, including childcare, cleaning, laundry and ironing clothes, cooking and caring for 4 British Shorthair cats. She left due to an urgent family emergency.

May 2014 to October 2016. Saudi Arabia. For an Arab family living in a 5-bedroom, two-storey landed house. Being the only helper, she was responsible for childcare, especially for caring for the youngest child, assisting with bathing, feeding, supervising daily activities, and ensuring the child's well-being. In addition, her duties included cleaning, laundry, ironing clothes, cooking and car washing. She completed her contract.

Melanie is capable of preparing Middle Eastern dishes, including kabsa, biryani, samosa, warak enab, machboos, falafel, kuboos, and molokhia. She can also prepare baked goods and snacks such as pizza, doughnuts, and pancakes for the family and other dishes following a recipe.
