The family lived in a landed house (2 levels & 5 bedrooms) where her main duties included cleaning, laundry, ironing, grocery shopping, marketing, cooking, childcare, and gardening. For childcare, she bathes, feeds and provides supervision during playtime. Her gardening tasks involved watering plants and sweeping the backyard.

She cooked Western food and Filipino dishes such as adobo, vegetable stew with fermented fish sauce (pakbet), pork or beef stew, chop suey, taro in coconut milk, pancit beejon, spring rolls, and sticky rice cakes. She also prepared grilled fish, spaghetti, barbeque, and fried chicken. Cedelyn can also prepare other dish following a recipe. She left this position because the employer no longer required a helper.
