She studied for a Bachelor of Science in Commerce and was unable to pursue it due to poverty. She prefers to take care of the elderly, as this is her skill. She can cook beef stew, pork adobo, chicken adobo, pancit guisado, porridge, chopsuey, steamed fish, butter garlic shrimp, tempura, chicken curry, and she can do any kind of Chinese soup.

She was bedridden with Alzheimer's and dementia; her right leg was very weak, and she needed assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, changing clothes, changing diapers, feeding, helping her brush her teeth and dentures, giving her medicines, and being taken to the doctor's appointment. She also did the cleaning, cooking, and marketing. She finished her contract and went back home to take care of her elderly in-laws. Now she is active and needs less assistance. She cooks for the family, does the marketing, and does the laundry. She would like to come back and work here again to help their family financially.
