Aug 2022 to Sept 2023. For a Thai family in a 5-bedroom, 2-storey landed property with 2 adults, 2 elderly family members, and 2 children aged 7 and 10. She was also responsible for housekeeping, grocery shopping, pet care, car washing, and gardening. She worked alongside another domestic helper who handled cooking, while she assisted in the kitchen mainly with ingredient preparation, as the elderly lady was responsible for cooking. She also cared for the family’s Persian cat. She completed her employment when the employer relocated out of Singapore.

July 2021 to Aug 2022. For a Chinese family of 2 adults and a newborn child in a 4-bedroom, 2-storey condo. Her responsibilities included newborn care, such as bathing, feeding, diaper changing, and attending to the baby’s needs, as well as housekeeping, cooking, and grocery shopping. She cooked Chinese, Western, and Filipino dishes, including adobo, sinigang, curry, sweet and sour dishes, tofu dishes, pancit bihon, pasta, waffles, cakes, cucumber soup, ABC soup, bak kut teh, steamed vegetables, braised pork, and other home-cooked meals consisting of meat, vegetables, and soup. She left the employment because the employer relocated out of Singapore.

Oct 2019 to July 2021. For a Chinese family with two adults, an elderly couple, and a newborn baby. She shared responsibility for newborn care with the employer’s wife, handling feeding, bathing, and the baby’s daily needs. The elderly couple joined the family four months after she was hired, during which she cared for the wheelchair-bound elderly lady with Alzheimer’s disease, assisting with bathing, feeding, administering prescribed medications and transfers between the bed and wheelchair. She also handled cooking, preparing three dishes with meat, fish, and vegetables, along with soups such as ABC soup, bak kut teh, lotus root, cucumber, and chicken soup. She completed her contract.

Oct 2017 to Oct 2019. For a Chinese family consisting of two adults and two children aged 19 and 14 in a 4-bedroom condominium. Her main responsibilities included general housekeeping, cooking, grocery shopping, and car washing. She prepared Chinese and Western dishes, serving 2 to 3 dishes with soup for each meal. Her menu included steamed fish and meat, stir-fried vegetables, tofu dishes, congee, stir-fried noodles, fried rice, sweet and sour dishses and soups such as bak kut teh, cucumber soup, apple soup, lotus root soup, and ABC soup. She completed her contract.
