Mary Joan completed her education up to Third Year High School at Nicaan National High School. The family consisted of a couple and two young children aged 4 and 3. She was the only helper in the household and was assigned to work primarily on the third floor where the family stayed. Her duties included general house cleaning, laundry and ironing, preparing meals for the children, and ensuring their safety and daily care. She actively assisted with feeding, bathing, dressing, and guiding the children in basic activities. She is capable of preparing meals, assisting with hygiene, supervising play and learning activities, and ensuring children’s overall well-being.

Mary Joan is able to cook a variety of Filipino dishes, can follow recipe books, and has basic knowledge of simple Arabic dishes, especially those suited for children. She is also willing to learn other cuisines if given the opportunity.

In addition to childcare and cooking, she is skilled in household cleaning, laundry, and ironing. She is also open to performing additional tasks such as gardening, pet care, and car washing when required by her employer.

PHILIPPINES (2020 to 2023) prior to her work abroad, Lorna worked for a Filipino family living in a two-bedroom, two-storey house. She assisted a couple and their three-month-old baby as an all-around helper. Her duties included general housekeeping, laundry, ironing, marketing, cooking, and performing additional tasks requested by her employer. Her reliability and flexibility made her a trusted member of the household. She supports a couple and their three children, ages 9, 5, and 4 months. In this role, she continues to perform a wide range of household duties, including cleaning, laundry, ironing, cooking, and caring for the children. She is adept at preparing meals, feeding, bathing, dressing, and engaging children in basic educational activities. While her primary experience is in childcare and housekeeping, she is also open and willing to look after elderly individuals when needed.

Lorna is confident in preparing Filipino dishes and can follow recipe books with ease. She is enthusiastic about learning new recipes and foreign cuisines to expand her skills. In addition to her core responsibilities, she is willing to assist with gardening, pet care, and car washing.
