DIVINA was dedicated to performing daily household chores, including

Cleaning and Tidying: She was responsible for cleaning the entire house, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting all rooms, ensuring the house was always spotless. She took care of the bedrooms, living areas, kitchen, bathrooms, and staircases, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness

Laundry and Ironing: She expertly handled laundry, washing, drying, and ironing clothes for the family. She ensured the clothes were well-maintained and neatly folded.

Cooking: She regularly prepared meals for the family, including a variety of dishes. She was skilled in making both Filipino and Western-style meals, such as spaghetti, roast chicken, mashed potatoes, burgers, and steak. She also prepared traditional Filipino dishes like adobo, sinigang, and lechon kawali.

General Housekeeping: In addition to cleaning, she managed the household supplies, ensuring that groceries were stocked, and kept the home well-maintained. She helped with organizing, dishwashing, and other small tasks that supported the smooth running of the household

Her work ethic, reliability, and warm personality made her a great asset to the family during her time in Saudi Arabia.

Arlene is an experience nanny and househelp working in the Middle East. In addition to providing care, Arlene tutored the children in English and managed household tasks such as preparing breakfast and school snacks, cleaning, laundry, and ironing. While cooking was not her primary responsibility, she occasionally prepared chicken curry at the children’s request. She completed her contract. Her responsibilities included cleaning, laundry, ironing, washing dishes, vacuuming, and even car washing for two vehicles. Most of the time, employer’s wife handled the cooking, sometimes Arlene prepared chicken adobo and chicken curry upon request. She found it challenging to adapt to the household lifestyle, and she had no private room and slept in the living room.
