Her first employment was with a 92‑year‑old bedridden ah mah. She engaged him in simple conversation, provided reassurance when he felt confused, and offered companionship. In addition, she handled cooking, cleaning, laundry, and marketing, keeping the home environment tidy and safe.

She is passionate about cooking. She has learnt to prepare Chinese and Indonesian cuisines such as rendang, curries, sambals, steamed dishes, fried items, soups, and many home‑style meals. She is also able to cook nutritious meals for the elderly, ensuring food is suitable for their health and easy to consume.

Rantani is now ready to return to work in Singapore. Her child is safely cared for by her family, and she is at ease to commit fully to her employment. She is motivated to continue supporting elderly employers with patience and dedication, while also contributing her skills in cooking and household management to ensure a comfortable home environment.
