Sriati is a 43‑year‑old Indonesian, married with two children aged 23 and 11. She has accumulated 11 years 8 months of experience as a domestic helper in Singapore and Saudi Arabia, where she developed strong skills in childcare, elderly care, pet care, and household management. She is able to converse in simple English for daily communication, making her adaptable to family routines and needs.  Employment History  2000 – 2006 (Saudi Arabia) Worked 6 years for an Arab family caring for an elderly couple: 87‑year‑old diabetic grandfather and 84‑year‑old grandmother. Duties included monitoring blood sugar levels, administering medication and insulin injections, assisting with walking and light tasks, and supporting the grandmother with light household chores. Managed housekeeping in a 3‑bedroom, 4‑toilet apartment. Cooking was handled by another helper.  Jul 2018 – Aug 2018 (Singapore) She worked for 3 weeks with a Malay family of 3: Sir, Ma’am, and a 9‑year‑old autistic boy. Her duties included preparing his school uniform, bag, and shoes, accompanying him to the school bus, and providing after‑school care with snacks, play, and companionship. She also managed housekeeping in a 3‑bedroom, 3‑toilet HDB flat. The employment ended as she had no prior experience caring for an autistic child and was unable to manage his needs.  Aug 2018 – Jan 2023 (Singapore) She worked for 4 years 5 months with an Indonesian‑Chinese family of five, consisting of Sir, Ma’am, and three children aged 17, 15, and 12. Her responsibilities included preparing school uniforms and shoes, and providing after‑school care with meals and snacks. She also cared for a large dog by feeding, walking, and bathing it. In addition, she managed housekeeping in a 3‑bedroom, 4‑toilet condominium, cooked three meals daily, handled marketing, and washed two cars.  Feb 2023 – Apr 2024 (Singapore) For 1 year 3 months, she was employed by an Indian expatriate family of three, consisting of Sir, Ma’am, and a 9‑year‑old daughter. Her duties included preparing the child for school, providing after‑school care, and accompanying her to tuition classes. She also looked after a small dog, taking responsibility for feeding, walking, and bathing. In addition, she managed housekeeping in a 3‑bedroom, 3‑toilet condominium, cooked three meals daily, handled marketing, and washed one car. The employment concluded when the daughter became independent and no longer required a helper.  Sri enjoys cooking Chinese and Indonesian dishes such as satay, ayam penyet, rendang, steamed chicken and fish, braised pork, grilled pork, curries, and sambals. In addition, she takes pride in thorough housekeeping and has a genuine love for caring for dogs. With her family’s support, Sriati is ready to return to Singapore to continue working and earn for her children’s future.
