Her main duties included general household cleaning, laundry, ironing, cooking, and grocery shopping. She also helped in taking care of the children—especially the newborn baby—by preparing milk, changing diapers, bathing, and putting the baby to sleep. For the older children, she assisted with their daily needs, such as preparing school uniforms, packing lunches, and ensuring the house was always neat and organised.

Daisyrie also helped in meal preparation, where she learned to cook both Asian and Western dishes, following her employer’s preferences. She worked diligently, ensuring that all household chores were done efficiently and on time. Her employer trusted her with various household responsibilities, and she developed a strong working relationship with the family throughout her four years of service in Singapore.

From 2020 to 2021, she worked in Singapore with a Filipino family consisting of two children, aged 5 and 7 years old. Her employer was staying in an HDB flat with 5 rooms and 2 toilets. She was the only helper in the household, and she took full responsibility for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the home.

Her daily duties included general housekeeping, such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and keeping the rooms tidy. She also handled laundry and ironing, ensuring the family’s clothes were always clean and well-kept. In addition to household chores, she cooked daily meals for the family and prepared snacks for the children.

She was also in charge of child care—helping the children with their morning routines, preparing them for school, and assisting with their homework after classes. She would play and engage with them in educational activities and ensure their safety and well-being while the parents were at work. During her employment, she showed reliability and dedication, maintaining a good relationship with her employer and the children.

From 2021 to 2025, she served with the Eurasian family, which is the mother of her first employer, who has suffered from Dementia. The elderly woman, aged 85 years old and lived in an HDB with 3 rooms and 2 toilets. She was the only helper in there who was in charge of everything in the house and the elderly, general cleaning, laundry. ironing and cooking.
