Venus is a domestic helper with over 10 years of experience in housekeeping and cooking, and childcare. She is currently residing in Singapore and has worked exclusively in the country, adapting well to various household environments. She has a good understanding of Chinese and Filipino cuisines, as other Western dishes.

Jun 2021 - Present. For a Filipino family of four residing in a 4-room HDB flat. The household consisted of a couple and their two children, aged 8 and 7. Her responsibilities included housework, grocery shopping, wet market trips, meal planning, cooking, laundry, and ironing. She prepared a wide variety of meals, including both Filipino and Western dishes such as roasted chicken, pasta, chicken wings, pancakes, and Filipino dish like adobo, sinigang, spring rolls, paksiw, pakbet, fried rice, fried fish, and pancit bihon. In terms of childcare, Venus ensured the children were safely brought to and picked up from school, prepared their lunchboxes and school essentials, accompanied them to playdates, and prioritized their safety and well-being at all times. The family eventually no longer needed a full-time helper. Venus is now available for new employment starting in June.

Jun 2019 - Jan 2020. For a Chinese family residing in a 4-bedroom HDB flat. Her responsibilities included caring for two children, aged 5 and 9, performing general housekeeping duties to maintain the cleanliness of the home, car washing, and daily cooking. She prepared a variety of meals, including Chinese, Western, and Filipino dishes such as rice meals, steamed or stir-fried vegetables, eggs, soups, braised meats, steak, pasta, and other recipes sourced from cookbooks. Her childcare duties involved sending and picking the children up from school, assisting with bathing, preparing their school essentials, organizing playdates, and preparing snacks such as bread and biscuits. She transfer due to the household’s demanding lifestyle, which did not allow for adequate rest.

2014 - 2019 She worked for a Chinese family residing in a 3-room HDB flat, where she had her own room. Her responsibilities included caring for a 6-year-old child, managing household chores, grocery shopping, cooking, and pet care. She prepared a variety of dishes such as Chinese, Western, and Filipino meals—including meat dishes, soups, tofu, steamed and fried fish, stir-fried vegetables, roasted chicken, and pasta. She also provided elderly care for the employer’s parents and handled the rest of the household tasks. For childcare, she brought the child to and from school, prepared snacks and lunchboxes, assisted with feeding, bathing, hygiene routines, and accompanied her to playdates. She successfully completed her contract. 

2014 For a Chinese family living in a 3-bedroom HDB unit with two children aged 7 and 8. Her main responsibilities included full housekeeping duties such as cooking, laundry, ironing, and maintaining a small pot garden. She also handled childcare tasks, including preparing the children's meals, bringing them to and from school, assisting with bathing and feeding, and organizing their school items. However, she requested a transfer after one week due to an unsuitable living arrangement—she had no privacy and was provided only a partitioned space near the kitchen hallway.

Venus is eager to contribute her skills to a new family and is available for work by June.
