Ellen Evis worked in a HDB flat with a balcony, 4-bedrooms, 2-toilets, a living room and kitchen for a elderly couple with a 67-year-old female with leg surgery, and she looked after her welfare. Daily she cleans and tidy the house, prepare and cook for the family, laundry, ironing and folding.

11 months (Mar 2024 – Feb 2025) as a helper in Singapore

Ellen Evis worked in a HDB flat with 4-bedrooms, 2-toilets, a living room and kitchen for a Chinese family of 3 with a 42-year-old male with stage-4 lung cancer, and she looked after his welfare. Daily she cleans and tidy the house, prepare and cook for the family, laundry, ironing and folding. In all these, she learned to manage her work well. For her future employment, she hopes to widen her experience to be a better helper.

Cooking                   

She cooks Filipino dishes, keen to learn to cook Chinese and various other dishes. In Singapore, she prepared and cooked basic Chinese dishes, such as stir-fried vegetables, sweet and sour pork, ABC soup, yam rice, steam fish etc.

Childcare

She is keen to look after children/ infants, and she looks after her own since birth. In her local experience, she prepared his meals, assisted to bathe, dressed and get him ready for school, attended to and assisted in his needs.

Elderly/ Patient Care

She is keen to look after the elderly. In Singapore, she prepared their meals, assisted to bathe and changed with fresh clothing, administered medications, accompanied for outdoor stroll, relaxation and medical check-ups, attended to and assisted in their needs.

Pet Care

She is keen to look after pets. While in Singapore, she fed two felines and kept clean the pet areas.

Hand phone

She will follow the employer’s instruction regarding hand phone usage. However, she will contact her family using her own hand phone after work hour. Any other usage arrangement is between employer and helper; this will be stated in the Job Offer.

Off-day

The helper is entitled to 1 compulsory off-day per month and the other working off-days shall be compensated accordingly.

2 years contract

She is aware of the 2-year contract.
