She completed her secondary education at Arena Blanco National High School in 2018.

Since December 2019 up to the present, Shermina has been working full-time as a caregiver in a care home in the Philippines. She handles a 1:6 patient ratio during 12-hour shifts, demonstrating her ability to manage multiple patients while maintaining quality care. Her responsibilities include performing NGT (Nasogastric Tube feeding), catheter care, grooming, and assisting patients diagnosed with Dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, and mild stroke. Her daily duties require patience, attentiveness, and a strong understanding of proper caregiving procedures, all of which she consistently demonstrates in her work.

In addition to patient care, Shermina also assists in performing light household chores and is knowledgeable in all aspects of housekeeping. She ensures that the patients’ environment is clean, safe, and organized, contributing to their comfort and well-being.

Shermina is confident in cooking Filipino dishes and is capable of preparing meals suitable for patients according to their dietary needs. She has a strong willingness to learn new cuisines and can easily follow recipes. Her positive attitude, adaptability, and eagerness to improve her skills make her well-suited for overseas employment. Her dedication to her profession, combined with her strong family values and sense of responsibility as the eldest child, make her a reliable and trustworthy caregiver applicant.

Upon selection, Shermina will undergo a one-week In-House Private Training in Manila accredited by TESDA, followed by an OWWA seminar prior to the processing of her Overseas Employment Certificate for deployment.

2018- 2022: She worked as MDW for 4 years at Surabaya.

2023 -Dec 2025: She worked as MDW for 2 years at Malaysia. She helped to look after Ah Kong 81 yo. The employer's house is 2 storey house, she worked with another helper.

She can take care of children, elderly and pets.

She can understand simple Mandarin.
