She is blessed with one child, a 7-year-old son. Being raised in a simple household, she developed a strong sense of responsibility, independence, and dedication to family welfare at an early age. She completed her secondary education at Itawes National Agricultural & Technical School in 2016. After finishing her studies, she focused on supporting her family and later pursued overseas employment opportunities to provide a better future for her child. She served as the sole household helper and was entrusted with maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the home. Her duties included general housekeeping, laundry, ironing, marketing, and cooking. In addition, she was responsible for taking care of an 86-year-old elderly female who had hypertension and diabetes and was wheelchair-bound. The household consisted of a couple and their two children, aged 12 and 6. In this role, she managed household chores such as cleaning, laundry, ironing, and cooking, while also providing care and supervision for the children. She assisted in their daily routines and ensured their safety and well-being. Ruffa Mae is experienced in both childcare and elderly care. She is knowledgeable in cooking Filipino dishes and simple Chinese cuisine and is willing to learn more recipes by following instructions or recipe guides. She is known to be hardworking, reliable, and eager to improve her skills. She is committed to serving her future employer with sincerity, patience, and professionalism, ensuring a safe, clean, and harmonious home environment for the entire family.  .

Growing up in a large and supportive family helped develop her nurturing personality and strong sense of responsibility. She completed her secondary education at Pio Duran National High School in 2004. Her training provided her with the skills and knowledge needed to care for individuals with different medical conditions and special needs. In her current role, she assists a wide range of patients, monitors vital signs, and carries out doctors’ instructions. Her caregiving experience includes assisting elderly patients with dementia and diabetes. She is familiar with providing daily care, monitoring blood sugar levels and vital signs, administering support as instructed by medical professionals, and ensuring that patients are safe, comfortable, and well attended to. Although she does not have formal domestic work experience, Mercy is knowledgeable in caring for young children and understands the importance of providing a safe and nurturing environment. She is also skilled in cooking Filipino dishes and can prepare nutritious meals for both patients and families. She is enthusiastic about learning new recipes and adapting to her employer’s preferred style of cooking. With her professional training, hands-on clinical experience, and genuine dedication to caring for others, she is well qualified for caregiving and household responsibilities. Upon selection, Mercy will undergo a one-week TESDA-accredited In-House Private Training in Manila, followed by an OWWA orientation seminar, prior to the processing of her Overseas Employment Certificate for deployment.  .

Despite life’s challenges, Blesie pursued her education and successfully completed her secondary studies at Matukay National High School in 1999. Growing up in a simple province life taught her the values of hard work, patience, and perseverance—qualities that became her foundation as she ventured abroad to support her family. Blesie has extensive experience working as a domestic helper in Singapore, where she served several Chinese families through the years. In this role, she performed all-around household duties including cleaning, cooking, and childcare. During her stay, she efficiently handled household chores, prepared meals, and assisted in attending to the child’s daily needs while also helping care for the elderly. In April 2013, Blesie briefly worked for another Chinese family living in an HDB with a couple and four children aged 13, 10, 8, and 5. She managed household responsibilities, cooking, and childcare for the family. In April 2013 - present, she joined her employer, also a Chinese family living in a 3-bedroom HDB with one adult and two elderly members in their 80s. Her responsibilities include housekeeping, cooking, and most importantly, taking care of the bedridden female elderly. She is knowledgeable in childcare duties such as feeding, bathing, preparing school needs, and engaging children through play and companionship. Blesie can cook a variety of Chinese and Filipino dishes and is willing to learn more by following recipe books. Through her years of service, Blesie has proven herself to be hardworking, trustworthy, patient, and responsible.
