Growing up in a modest rural environment, Mira learned early the importance of perseverance, humility, and family responsibility.

She completed her secondary education at Don Eulogio de Guzman Memorial National High School in 2015. While waiting for her application to be selected in Singapore, Mira is currently working as a helper for a relative, ensuring she continues to sharpen her skills while supporting her family. Mira was responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of their two-room bungalow home, doing the laundry, cooking, and attending to the needs of the children. This role helped her develop patience, gentle caregiving skills, and strong multitasking abilities.

January 2025 to the present, Mira has been working for a relative’s family in a two-bedroom bungalow. She cares for a 70+ year-old elderly woman who is still mobile, along with two adult family members. Her daily duties include cleaning, laundry and ironing, cooking meals, and assisting the elder with her everyday needs. This experience has strengthened her capability in elderly care, complementing her childcare experience.

Mira is confident in cooking simple Filipino dishes and is eager to learn more, including Chinese cuisine. She can follow recipes well and enjoys expanding her knowledge in the kitchen. Her skill set covers a wide range of household tasks, including childcare, elderly care, cooking, cleaning, laundry and ironing, car washing, pet care, and gardening. This role enhanced her skills in customer service, teamwork, time management, cleanliness standards, and handling cash transactions—skills that further strengthened her work discipline and sense of responsibility.

In 2014, she completed her secondary education at Caramoran School of Fisheries. Following that, she enrolled in a course in Hotel and Restaurant Services, studying until her second year.

PHILIPPINES ( 2015 - 2016 ) Florie Mae’s experience in domestic work when she worked as a stay-in helper and working student for a Filipino family living in a 3-bedroom bungalow. The household included a couple and their 5-year-old child. As an all-around helper, she was responsible for keeping the house clean, doing laundry and ironing, cooking meals, and taking care of the child. She attended school three times a week and ensured her duties at home were done before going to class. This experience gave her early exposure to balancing responsibilities, which she carried into her personal and professional life. She is hopeful and ready for new opportunities that will help provide a better future for her family.

She is confident in taking care of newborns and young children, with hands-on experience in feeding, bathing, changing clothes, preparing meals, and engaging them in age-appropriate learning activities. Though her primary experience is in childcare, she is also open and willing to care for the elderly and individuals with special needs, if given the opportunity.

Born to a humble family, Shanaya is the daughter of a 50-year-old farmer and a 50-year-old housewife, whose simple yet hardworking lifestyle has shaped her values of perseverance and responsibility.

She completed her secondary education at Tabuk National High School in 2018, and pursued Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management up to her 4th year. However, due to financial challenges, she was unable to complete her college degree. Despite this, her time in school enriched her with practical skills in household management, food service, and customer care—skills that she continues to apply in her daily life and in her work experience.

Shanaya is scheduled to undergo Domestic Work National Certificate II (TESDA-accredited), including a week of in-house private training in Manila. This program covers core competencies such as:

Household cleaning techniques
Washing and ironing
Proper hygiene and safety protocols

This training, combined with her prior experience and personal motivation, equips her with the necessary skills to confidently take on domestic work abroad.

Rizel's journey in education was marked by determination. She completed her secondary education at Caramoran School of Fisheries in 2014. Unfortunately, after reaching her second year in college, financial constraints forced her to stop pursuing her degree. Although unable to finish her college education, Rizel never lost her will to move forward.

Instead of giving up, she redirected her energy into working and supporting her own growing family. Despite the responsibilities at home, she has never stopped working to create a better life for her children.

Her domestic work experience began,

PHILIPPINES (June 2016 Feb 2017), while studying, Rizel took on a job as a maid for a Filipino family to help support her schooling. She lived in a two-storey home with a couple and their two older children and managed house cleaning, cooking, and laundry. Her dedication to balancing work and education at such a young age showed her sense of responsibility and independence.

PHILIPPINES (Dec 2022 - June 2023), she again worked as a domestic helper for another Filipino household, this time taking care of all general housework in a bungalow home with a couple and their adult child. These roles not only gave her hands-on experience in household management but also sharpened her skills in cooking, cleaning, and time management. This role, although part-time, has given her a sense of service and connection to the people around her. When she's not at work, Rizel devotes her time to raising her children, managing household chores, and preparing for a potential job opportunity overseas in Singapore. R izel now looks forward to the opportunity to work abroad, not just to earn a living but to give her children the life and education she once had to give up.

These early experiences shaped her into a caring, capable, and dependable young woman.

Jamaica completed her secondary education at Inats Bagumbayan Annex in 2020. Despite the challenges of balancing school and home duties, she was determined to pursue higher education. She enrolled at the Lyceum of Tuao Centro Dos and graduated in 2024 with a degree in Business Administration. While studying, she also worked as a domestic helper to support herself, showcasing her commitment and resilience. The household included a couple and their two children, aged 7 and 2. As a working student, she managed both her academic responsibilities and her duties at home. Her role involved maintaining cleanliness in the house, doing laundry, preparing meals, and most importantly, taking care of the young children. She would assist with feeding, bathing, dressing, preparing their school things, and keeping them engaged through play. This experience deepened her skills in childcare and household management, as well as her ability to balance multiple responsibilities with patience and care.

Currently, Jamaica is taking care of her newborn niece, a responsibility she took on in October 2024. She attends to the baby’s daily needs—feeding, bathing, changing diapers, and ensuring the infant is comfortable and safe at all times. This hands-on experience has further strengthened her confidence in caring for infants and has shown her natural nurturing instincts.

Jamaica is not only capable of caring for children but is also willing to look after elderly persons, given the opportunity. She is confident in cooking a variety of Filipino dishes and eager to learn new cuisines. Additionally, she is open to doing gardening, car washing, and pet care—tasks she finds rewarding and enjoyable.

With a strong sense of responsibility, a kind heart, and a willingness to learn, Jamaica is ready to bring her skills and experience to a new household.

ANGELA MAE DUBLA MILLARE is a 26-year-old with a common-law partner.

1. PHILIPPINES (June 2015 – June 2017) She served a Filipino family living in a 2-storey house with a couple, a 65-year-old female elder, and a 2-year-old child. Her employer hired 2 maids, and she was responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of the child. Sometimes she also assists the other helper in cleaning.

With her experience with infant care & children's care, she is confident in preparing meals, feeding, bathing, changing clothes, and playing with them.

She is confident in preparing and cooking Filipino dishes and is eager to learn other foreign cuisines, and can follow a recipe.

She is confident in domestic work since she does it in their home. She will also undergo Domestic Work National Certificate II, a week of In-House Private Training in Manila (Accredited by TESDA), which includes core competencies in cleaning, washing, and ironing.

She completed her secondary education at Culasi National High School, graduating in 2022 under the Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS) strand.

Crisel worked for a Filipino family living in a two-bedroom bungalow, where she served as a stay-out helper. The household included an 85-year-old elderly woman who was non-ambulatory (unable to walk). Her responsibilities included: Housekeeping: General cleaning, laundry, and cooking, assisting with bathing, feeding, changing clothes and diapers.

She is willing and prepared to look after elderly individuals and persons with disabilities, showing both empathy and readiness to learn more through experience.

Crisel is experienced and capable in: Cleaning, laundry, ironing, dishwashing, Cooking Filipino dishes and willing to learn foreign cuisines (can follow recipes). Gardening, car washing, and pet care.

She is set to undergo Domestic Work NC II Certification — a TESDA-accredited in-house private training program in Manila, covering core competencies in: House cleaning, Laundry and ironing, Basic home management.

Crisel is now eagerly awaiting an opportunity to work abroad, especially in a household where she can apply her skills and grow professionally. Singapore (August 2021 – May 2023) Maribel was employed by a Chinese family in Singapore, where she worked as a live-in domestic helper for an 83-year-old male elder. Her primary role was to provide daily elderly care and support, which included: Assisting the elder with personal grooming, mobility, and daily hygiene routines; Helping with light exercise and walking to maintain physical activity and mobility; Administering daily medication as prescribed; Monitoring his condition and ensuring his comfort and safety at all times. In addition to elderly care, Maribel also managed the household independently, performing tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and basic cooking. She is trained in providing personal care and wellness services, reflecting her attention to detail and her ability to learn new skills. While she enjoys her current work, her primary goal remains securing employment overseas for long-term family support.

At present, she is a full-time homemaker, taking care of her children and managing household chores while waiting for an opportunity to work in Singapore.

PHILIPPINES (2008-2018), she was employed as a domestic helper by a Filipino family living in a two-storey, two-bedroom house. Anecita served as an all-around helper, responsible for cleaning the house, doing the laundry and ironing, cooking meals, and looking after the children. She held this position for almost eight years, until July 2019. Through this experience, she developed good communication skills, adaptability, and customer service expertise.

UAE (July 2019 – Dec 2021), she was hired by a Pakistani family in the United Arab Emirates as a domestic helper. The family lived in a five-bedroom apartment consisting of a couple, a 63-year-old elderly woman with diabetes, and two children aged seven and a newborn baby. The household had two helpers, and Anecita’s main responsibility was to take care of the children — including feeding, bathing, preparing their meals, changing clothes, and accompanying them to various activities. At times, she also assisted in attending to the needs of the elderly family member.

Carla completed her secondary education at Mabini National High School – Alimatoc Extension in 2006. Guided by her interest in hospitality and service, she pursued a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management at North Negros College, where she graduated in 2019.

After completing her studies, Carla gained diverse work experience in several non-domestic roles. These positions allowed her to develop strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Carla has hands-on experience in caregiving not by profession but with her own family. Applying overseas she beleived she can give more & share more of her talent & service to take care of Chilren or elderly. She enjoys learning new cuisines and can easily follow recipes. In addition to cooking, she is willing and capable of performing other household duties such as cleaning, car washing, pet care, and gardening.

Hong Kong (2019–2021) – She served a Chinese family living in a 2-bedroom flat with three adults and a 1-year-old child. She handled all household chores, cooked meals, and took care of the young child. She is confident in performing essential duties such as preparing meals, feeding, bathing, changing clothes and diapers, and attending to children’s daily needs.
