As the sole household helper, her responsibilities are general housekeeping such as cleaning, laundry, ironing, grocery list preparation, and pet care for the family’s turtle, as well as occasional car washing when required. In addition to household duties, she provided childcare support by preparing lunchboxes, accompanying the children to playdates, and managing school drop-offs and pick-ups when their mother was unavailable. She also handled daily meal preparation, typically cooking three dishes and a soup. Her dishes included Chinese and Filipino dishes such as steamed vegetables and tofu, braised pork, adobo, pancit beehon, fried rice, congee, steamed fish, broccoli, ABC soup, lotus soup, bak kut teh, sliced fish soup, and other preferred family meals.

Mar 2020 - Aug 2023. HoneyLor worked for an Indian household, providing care for an 84-year-old elderly lady who was wheelchair-bound and diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. They resided in a two-bedroom condominium, where HoneyLor shared a room with another helper. The two alternated responsibilities for both household management and elderly care. Her caregiving duties included transferring the elderly from bed to wheelchair and vice versa, preparing meals that required blending or use of a food processor, feeding, bathing, diaper changing, accompanying her to medical appointments, administering prescribed medications, and attending to her daily hygiene needs. In addition, she handled household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, ironing, grocery shopping, and marketing. HoneyLor also managed daily meal preparation, cooking a variety of dishes including stir-fried vegetables, soups, steamed fish, and porridge. She prepares Filipino specialties such as sinigang, pancit bihon, pinakbet, adobo, fried rice, paksiw, spring rolls, afritada, menudo, kare-kare, and more. She is also able to follow recipes from cookbooks or online cooking channels to prepare dishes.
