Cing Biak Lian is from Myanmar and worked as a domestic helper for me from Sept 2023 to Aug 2025.
Lian specializes in elderly care and is able to care for both male and female seniors including those who are bedridden.
When she cared for my bedridden, she proved to be capable, trustworthy and compassionate. Her daily responsibilities included bathing him, dressing, cooking and feeding him. Lian has a University Degree and is able to handle medical instructions of doctors in caring for wound and administering medicine. She is competent in transferring elderly from bed to wheelchair and has even mastered the use of hoist machine for elderly.
She is very dedicated, competent as a caregiver and attentive and compassionate as a person. She is able to understand and speak good English.
We did not extend her contract because my father has entered the final end-of-life care phase which is better handled in my own home.
I would highly recommend Lian as a competent domestic helper of good character.

4. 29/08/2023 to 18 Aug 2025 - worked 2 years for a Chinese elderly couple in their 70's with her daughter. They live in a HDB. Her duties were general housework, cook for herself, employer catering and take care Mam (she is stroke patient and wheelchair bound) (push her and carry from commo to bathroom, push her from sofa to wheelchair etc...).
Reason for leaving - completed contract.

3. 14/01/2022 to 29/08/2023 - worked almost 2 years for a Chinese elderly couple in their 60's and 80's (Sir wheelchair bound) with 2 grown-up children. They live in HDB. Her duties were general housework and take care Sir (send him to treatment center from 8am to 3.30 help him to toilet,help him when eating, medication etc...).
Employer prefer to change Myanmar helper.

2. 22/09/2018 to 19/10/2020 - worked 2 years for a Malay family of 2 working parents with 2 kids aged 6 and 8 years (upon leaving). They live in HDB. Her duties were general housework, cooking Malay dinners daily and take care the kids including sleep with kids and sending them to school.
Reason for leaving - completed contract.

1. 04/08/2018 to 22/09/2018 - worked 1.5 months for a Malay family of 2 working parents with 2 kids aged 2.5 years and Newborn. They live in HDB.Her duties were general housework and take care the kids. Cannot handle 2 young active kids together.
