Mar 2024 - Feb 2026. For a Chinese family or 3 adults residing in a five-bedroom in a 2 storey property- consisting of an elderly lady in her late 80's, employer’s adult daughter and grand daughter. Mary Jane was responsible for the household duties, including general cleaning, laundry, ironing, cooking, dishwashing, garden upkeep and car washing once a week.

She also assisted the elderly family member with her daily needs in meal preparation while grocery shopping was handled by the employer, Mary Jane managed the cooking and prepared two dishes plus soup. Her cooking include steamed vegetables, steamed chicken, chicken rice, curry, tofu dishes, fried rice, stir-fried noodles or pancit bihon, bak kut teh, ABC soup, lotus soup, and other recipes the family preferred, as she can follow instructions and recipes. 

In addition to her current role Mary Jane has personal experience caring for newborns. Coming from a large family, she was often responsible for looking after her nephews and nieces. She is familiar with infant care, including changing diapers, bathing the baby, preparing and feeding milk, burping, and soothing the baby to sleep.

Aug 2023 to Mar 2024. For a Chinese family in a three-bedroom HDB flat, with two adults, two elderly family members, and two children aged 19 and 8. She handles housekeeping duties such as cleaning, washing dishes, laundry, ironing, grocery shopping, and marketing. Although she was not permitted to cook independently, she assisted the elderly with meal preparation. Due to challenges in the working environment, particularly during kitchen assistance, she eventually transferred to another employer.

May 2023 to Aug 2023, For a Vietnamese family residing in a 3-bedroom HDB, with one adult and two children aged 13 and 16. Her responsibilities were housekeeping, laundry, ironing, cooking, grocery shopping, marketing. She prepared Vietnamese dishes, including pho, bún chả, bánh mì, spring rolls, pancakes, and egg rolls. She transferred due to privacy concerns involving the children.

Nov 2022 to May 2023, For an Australian lady residing in a 4-bedroom condo and her 2 year child. She managed childcare, including sleeping with the child, bathing, feeding, changing diaper and supervising daily activities. Oct 2022 to Oct 2022, For an American family residing in a 4-bedroom landed property. The household consisted two adults and two children aged 8 and 12. Shortly after she took the job, they took flight to Jordan, where she was assigned to clean four large houses on a daily basis. She stayed for 15 days before she was transferred, as the arrangement and location were not in accordance with the contract.

Dec 2018 to Oct 2022, For a Chinese family residing in a two-storey, three-bedroom HDB with the couple two children aged 4 and 2. Her responsibilities included childcare, managing school drop-offs and pick-ups, assisting with daily hygiene routines, preparing school essentials and supervision at all times. In addition to childcare, she handled household duties, cleaning, laundry, ironing, cooking, and grocery shopping. She cooks Chinese and Thai dishes and other meals based on the family’s preferences. From 2018 to 2020, For a European family in a 4 bedroom landed property, with the couple and two children aged three and a year old infant. She managed the household, cleaning, doing laundry, ironing, cooking, and childcare. She cooks Western dishes including pasta, french fries, cobb salad, fish and chips, shepherd’s pie, and traditional English breakfast, and other dishes. She completed her contract.
