In November 2018, Rosemarie began her journey as a domestic worker in Singapore. Her first employer was a local Singaporean family with three young children, including a newborn. Mini has been working with a Malay family in Singapore since 13 February 2022. The family also has three cats.
Her main responsibilities include:
- Caring for all five children, especially the youngest, whom she has looked after since he was 7 months old.
- Cooking daily meals, mainly Malay, Indonesian, and simple Asian dishes such as ikan pedas, ikan bakar, chicken soup, lemak cili padi, bee hoon, spaghetti, fried rice, chicken/fish curry, and steamed fish.
