May  2024 to Sept 2024– for a Chinese Family- Angie is working for a family of 3 adults and 3 children living in an HDB. Her main responsibilities include cleaning the house, laundry, ironing, grocery shopping, and cooking dishes such as chicken curry, dhal, fish curry, and Indian vegetable-style meals. Her employment is ending as the family no longer requires a full-time helper.

Feb 2024 to May 2024 – for a Canadian/Indian Family Angie worked for a family of 2 adults and 2 children (4-year-old twins). Her duties included childcare, such as bathing and playing with the children, as well as cleaning, laundry, ironing, grocery shopping, and cooking meals like bolognese pasta, mashed potatoes, baked mac and cheese, and roasted chicken. Her employment ended as the employer moved out of Singapore.  

January 2024 to December 2024 – for an Indian family, Angie worked for a family of 2 adults and 1 child living in a condominium. Her responsibilities included childcare, cleaning, laundry, ironing, grocery shopping, gardening, and cooking Western-style meals. Her employment ended due to difficulties working with another helper in the household.

June 2022 to Jan 2024 – for a Filipino/Indian Family Angie worked for a family of 2 adults and 2 young children then aged 7y and a newborn baby. She took care of the infant like bathing the infant, change diapers, play with kids, read storybook to the baby, bring them to the playground or send the older kid to the tuition classes; she also does the cleaning, laundry, ironing, grocery shopping, and cooking Filipino-style meals like adobo, tinola ( chicken soup)m beehon, stir fry dishes, chicken curry. Her employers managed a to get a slot for a full day childcare and she was released as her employer only started working part time.  

Feb  2022 to June 2022 – for an Indian Family Angie worked for a family of 2 adults and 1 child living in a condominium. Her responsibilities included childcare, cleaning, laundry, ironing, grocery shopping, and preparing vegetarian meals. Her employment ended as she could not adjust to the spicy food preference of the family.  

Jan 2020 to Feb 2022 for a Brazilian family of 4 living in a condo. Angie cooks stewed beef/chicken, pan fried salmon with steamed vegetables, roast turkey, baked salmon, grilled beef with vegetables, vegetable salad with dressings, and can follow recipes. The family relocated and she transferred.

Sept 2019 to Jan 2020 for a Chinese Family- Angie worked for a family of 2 adults living in a landed property. Her responsibilities included cleaning, laundry, ironing, grocery shopping, car washing, gardening, and cooking Chinese-style meals such as stir-fry dishes. Her employment ended due to a difficult working relationship with the employer.

May 2019 to Sept 2019 – Singapore Domestic Helper for an Indian Family Angie worked for a family of 5 adults and 3 children living in an HDB. Her duties included cleaning, laundry, ironing, grocery shopping, car washing, and cooking dishes such as chicken curry. Her employment ended due to accommodation issues. She was the sole helper and was responsible for preparing the child’s school items and uniform, cooking, cleaning, laundry, and car washing.
