Judy completed her secondary education at James L. Chiongbian Trade School in 2013, specializing in Cosmetology. Despite this, Judy remained determined and took various jobs in the Philippines, including factory work as a mango slicer, a month-long role as a promodiser, and a stint as a cashier.

Her pursuit of better opportunities eventually led her overseas employment:

Saudi Arabia( July 2019 to June 2023), Judy served an Arab family living in a four-room apartment. She was entrusted as the sole helper for a household of six—a couple and four children aged 15, 13, 7, and a newborn. She handled all general household chores, including cleaning, laundry, cooking, and childcare. Her reliability, patience, and gentle nature made her a trusted presence in the home. Her duties included daily cleaning, laundry and ironing, cooking various dishes—particularly Chinese cuisine—and attending to the needs of the young child. She also confidently managed pet care and maintained the smooth daily operations of the home.

Over the years, Judy has developed strong skills in household management, childcare, cooking, gardening, and pet care. She cooks Filipino and Arab dishes well and is confident in preparing Chinese meals. Known for her willingness to learn, she easily follows recipes and adapts to new routines.

Now back in the Philippines, Judy is spending cherished time with her family while awaiting new overseas opportunities. She remains deeply motivated by her desire to support her children’s education and secure a brighter future for them. She is available for interviews via pho.

She lives with her common-law partner, and together they are blessed with a bright and cheerful 2-year-old daughter. Their simple lifestyle instilled in Marisa the values of perseverance, discipline, and service.

Marisa completed her secondary education at Imus National High School in 2015. With a desire to pursue a technical field, she later studied Information Technology at CAPSU Pilar State University. To support herself and gain work experience, she worked as a checker in a grocery store from 2018 to 2019, where she developed good customer service skills and attention to detail.

Her journey in domestic work began in 2019. She served families in the Philippines, gaining hands-on experience and confidence in household management:

2019–2021 (Philippines)
Marisa worked for a Filipino family living in a two-bedroom, two-story home. The household consisted of a couple and their 1-year-old child. As an all-around housemaid, she handled cooking, cleaning, and childcare. She took responsibility for feeding, bathing, and caring for the child, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.

2021–2022 (Philippines)
She then served another Filipino family in a similar two-bedroom, two-story home. The family included a couple with two children aged 10 and 3. Her duties remained comprehensive—household chores, cooking, and caring for the children, including engaging them in activities and assisting with daily routines.

Through these roles, Marisa strengthened her skills in childcare, especially with young children. She is confident in preparing meals, feeding, bathing, dressing up toddlers, and playing or engaging with them meaningfully.

At home, Marisa regularly performs domestic tasks, which further sharpened her abilities. To enhance her qualifications, she is set to undergo Domestic Work National Certificate II training—a one-week in-house program in Manila accredited by TESDA. This training covers essential competencies such as cleaning, laundry, ironing, and household organization.

Driven, responsible, and family-oriented, Marisa Delfin Barrera continues to strive for a better future for her family. Her experience, dedication, and willingness to learn make her a dependable and capable worker in any household she serves.
